Impersonating medical clinic where I knew I was due for procedure, wanted to take information to schedule me. They identified themselves with the exact right name of the clinic in voicemail and by receptionist. They only got my name and DOB, and I hung up because they wanted 30 minutes of my time. I checked the phone number at the clinic website after: FAKE.
Didn’t catch a name but same thing happened to me- demanding $3000 or he’ll hurt me or my family, sent real names and addresses, along with pics of random dismembered bodies and a video of cartel guys holding weapons

Received a call and verified the address and then asked who was in charge. I asked and who exactly are you? I didn't care to listen. We are a gov't office and I disconnected the call. We don't really need any help with this business!

They didn't say anything for about a minute. Then someone started whistling in the phone. I hung up. If they can't say who they are or leave a message, I won't bother with it. The caller ID didn't identify the caller as Renewal by Anderson, but after doing some research I found that to appear to be the case. A few minutes before that, I received a call from 480-612-0682. I'm going to go out on a limb and opine that it was probably the same person.
