Asking about a Marketplace ad, but were messaging me in regular messaging, NOT in Messenger. Never had any contact with them in the Marketplace app. Sight unseen, they wanted to Venmo me the payment. When told I don't have Venmo, they wanted me to get it so they could send money. When told "cash only" they insisted I get Venmo. Claimed to be disabled, sent a photo of a woman and said she was purchasing for her son. Claimed to live a couple of hours away. Never discussed price. Red flags on this!
Called and hung up without leaving a message. Call originated in Green Bay Wisconsin. I'm in North Carolina and do not know anyone in Green. Bay.
Claimed my preauthorized purchase for $919.45 for a PlayStation 5 and q 3D headset were placed on my Walmart account.... I did not make such a purchase nor do I have a Walmart account.
Hangup call which came in Friday around 2 PM. Didn't recognize # OR the weird caller ID (which seems designed for businesses to hide their ID) -- so, guessing spam....
Unknown texter claimed that they had changed their number and asked me if I had time. Did not say who they were. SCAM, Spam or prank call?
they were warning about a "boil water emergency" in my city
Went to iMessage, then 2 months of talk , it turned into demanding money or some AI generated pictures would be released
They claimed they were returning my call, when I told them I do not know who they were and I was not interested in anything they had to sell they kept on asking me questions about my name my address. I’m trying to get other personal information. They would not go away. They kept insisting that I gave them personal information so they could not call me again obviously some sort of sales scam or spam.
