They told my 83-years old friend the caller was from the FTC and that she has two charges to her credit card for $3499 at Walmart and $2000 at an illegal casino in Mexico. The have a warrant out for her arrest. They said seven countries are involved and $1 million dollars. I know. It does not make any sense unless you are a naive person.
He claimed to be with Google and reported unauthorized access to my gmail account. Wanted to initiate a "Account Recovery Process" to activate, allegedly, a blacklist for the IP addresses in Toronto Canada and Frankfort Germany. When I pressed him on the fact that I could access my gmail and didn't need to recover my account he grew impatient. I asked him for a Google article that details this need and he hung up. VERY BOGUS and others need to be warned.

Claimed he wanted to buy my used pet carrier then said he would VENMO me $20 Then I needed to call to verify my identity. He was sending his son to get the carrier. I wouldn't provide any personal information so he claims his $ is stuck with Venmo. No message was ever sent out from venmo. He is a scammer!

UNKNOWN CALLER FROM BOSTONS CALL ALWAYS GOES TO VOICEMAIL FOR 10 SECONDS AND NEVER SAYS 0. SCAMMER IS A NUSIANCE THAT DOES THIS DAILY! WE BLOCKED THEIR NUMBER, BUT THEY CALL BACK ON A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT ONE! NEVER ANSWER UNKNOWN CALLS! THEY WANT TO RECORD YOUR VOICE!!!
RECEIVED EMAIL STATING THAT MY SUBSCRIPTION WAS SUCCESSFULLY PROCESSED FOR 12 MONTH. I DID NOT SUBSCRIBE TO ANYTHING. CALLED THE NUMBER AND THE MAN KEPT STATING I NEEDED TO BE IN FRONT OF MY COMPUTER. I TOLD HIM I AM NOT GETTING ON MY COMPUTER I AM ON MY PHONE AND I WAS REPORTING THEM TO MY BANK. HE HAD NOTHING TO SAY.
