Supposedly a Vice President at Truist Bank wanting to discuss an IRS estimated payment. I believe this is a scam.
Left voice mail saying from CDC. CONFIRMED on CDC website that this is one of their numbers.
claimed had documents for a criminal matter to be served for a name have not been known as in 15yrs
Said I only had minutes to return her call(Elizabeth) or get charged back a 50% discount which she stated I have. We just signed up for xfinity and did get an exceptional price for 2 yrs, but I figured that she would have left an 800# not a 712 # where I think I would be charged for the call.
Sent an email claiming I needed to call (828) 579-1354 if I did not wish for a GeekSquad membership be renewed for $278.60. An obvious scam as the from e-mail fake and ir was sent to dozens of other emails at the same time.
