I received this phone message: Hi, this is Olivia from Walmart account security. A pre-authorized purchase for a MacBook Pro and iPhone in the amount of $2499 has been charged on a Walmart account registered to your name and phone number. If you did not authorize this purchase, call us immediately at 803-290-7804. I don’t have a Walmart account.
They claimed to be from Discover Card and had information about me. Spoke fast to get info out of me. Started to swear when they saw the call was not going anywhere. Said it was part of an FBI investigation. Then hung up. Fraud.

Texter identified my phone number belonging to someone else. I've had the same number 26 years. When I tried to call the number, the call would not go through. Suspicious.
This number was not from a call, rather it was listed on an email sent to me claiming to be from PayPal. The number is shown in the email as PayPal’s contact number. Because this message referenced a purchase I did not make, was addressed to an email address other than the one shown on my PayPal account, called me “Dear Customer,” and because my PayPal account is not even fully set up, I forwarded the message to phishing@paypal.com.
Claimed he was hired to deliver documents to my home and if not there would come to my job to deliver papers. When given the name of one company stating I owed money from October 2020 and I told him that I did not know this company name, he presented another company name which I did not know. He stated that since I denied knowing either of the two companies, I would get papers to settle in court and he immediately hung up. Never given an opportunity to ask any questions.
