Robo call about $1300 being charged on account for flip phone. Said hit #1 to talk to someone if not ordered. Hung up.
They claimed a card was recently opened, in my name, in another state. they offered up the last 4 of my SSN, etc, claimed it wasn't a cold call...etc, all of this in an Indian Accent if I can put that here, not personal, just helping to identify a pattern. I have heard the same speech from other numbers, several different times. All Scams. If my phone says 'potential scam', I believe it, but sometimes I have to verify, and this is testimony to my experiences. I'm not certain what they are EXACTLY looking to do, but I know from what I was lead towards: Data Disclosure, My Data Disclosure. Perhaps they were only looking to fill in the first 5 digits, to verify someone with that particular name still resides there, etc...SCAM, Avoid It. Thanks for your understanding
