CALLED, NO VOICEMAIL LEFT. RECIEVE ABOUT 4 CALLS A DAY FROM SAME NUMBER
called about my credit application-again-I do not have one
Left message about my "credit application"-I don't have one with them
They called my cell phone and said they would be collecting donations on my street in the town I live in. They knew my address and asked me to verify it. I didn't commit to donating anything and they said they'd call me back on Monday.
The phone rang, a computerized voice said "Goodbye" and the call ended.
claimed there was a cards applied for with a different mailing address in California. they provided my present address, last four of social, and name. i asked for their ph number, and was given 703-957-8056
I got a spam text message from this number asking for a donation to Contest Every Race.
"Schafer Law Firm" - b.s. won't answer any question re: who they are; just trying to scam you.
called, confirmed my name, hung up, and would not answer call back
Claimed to be involved with my getting an updated Medicaid card.
I received a call from 703-272-2013 with a caller ID of Navy Federal Cr (credit union), and they left a voicemail stating they were calling from Navy Federal CU. I called back and they indicated I was eligeble for a free Med Alert and I only needed to pay for the subscription. I agreed. I never received an confirmation email for my purchase or for my subscription service. I was frauded of $479. Beware!
ID'ed themselves with NFCU. Told them there was no association between the number he called from and NFCU, he hung up.
The caller claimed to be from Capital One. I told him to take my number off his calling list and hung up.
This number called me last night after 7 PM and again this morning at 830 AM. Does not leave a message on my answering machine. Just hangs up. ID say it is from Debt Collector. I have perfect credit and am not in arrears to anyone. My credit score is above 750. I will not answer the calls and want to report them for harassment and scams.
