Posted house rental ad, claimed to be owner of house, scammed me out of a $50 application fee and wanted another $600 for a 'deposit' before I realized it was a scam. Vey pressuring and got mean.
They claimed to be Xfinity offering a 50% discount, but only if you call back at that number.
They claimed to be with the local bank and wanted to go over some ACH payments that were flagged as suspicious.
A scammer is using this # to list propert rentals on craigslist where they will 1st get you to communicate using unofficial craigslist channels (to prevent there account from getting banned). Then they will tell you that you need to pay for an app to download in order to fill out your rental application. This app actualy steals your data to be sold to other scammers for further exploitation by other scammers. Then the scammer will say that you need to pay an 'admin fee' or a ' holding fee' to hold the propert you want to rent. The propert is actual listed via stolen pics of a legitamte property that is not actually for rent & the scammer ends up keeping your holding fee via some lame excuse that you need to keep paying more $ if you really want it. Snd they will keep defrauding you until they realize there target has caught on. Then the scammer will keep changing there textnow # or spoofed mobile # again & again to evade detection. Then the process repeats with a new group of fraudulant non existant rental listings & lures in the next victim(s) by advertising rentals at 60% of Market rate.

Text message they would be in my state in January and couldn't wait to see me. Blocked and reported to carrier.
Got an alert text message that you only see before you are able to log in to your iPhone. It’s not a regular type of text message that you access once you’ve already logged in. Message said “I’m planning on making some BBQ tomorrow. Would you like to come over?” It’s a good thing I took screen snapshots of the message & phone number because once I signed in to my phone the regular way it did not show up in missed calls or that it even happened at all.
Got a text asking if i was ok. They said did you not save the number? Im Amy. I replied I don’t know any Amy nice try and they replied back saying sorry I got the wrong number.

This was the first of 2 texts in quick succession: the 2nd text I received (and reported just before this one) was from 213-563-6067 saying "Can we just talk?" Dumb bots.
