They claimed to be a vacations company sounding like a timeshare. Wanted my name, address, primary and alternate phone, email, and Credit card info. When I ask for thier phone back, they didn't want to give it until I "went through the steps". An offer too good, is just too good. to two ppl: 4 days, 3 nights, hotel, 8 days 7 nights cruise, 2 round trip air tix, all bc I had "travel credits" but they were also hesitant in naming thier business.

Claimed to be an independent carrier delivering certified documents. They gave an incomplete address and gave a toll free number to call back to. They may have phished this number.

Foreign guy named Michael Scott called stating a docs dea and npi was compromised. He was rude and berating our receptionist. It has to be scam, DEA wont call they will send you an official document.

Texted me to verify voter registration

Male caller asking about real estate I own. Told him the connection was bad. He got annoyed and hung up....most likely another scammer.

India guy, claimed to be DEA and wanted to know about my husband's medical license. (This is all public record online). Came up as DEA on the phone with a Virginia number (571-569-3180)

The caller wanted to give an $850,000 check in trade for a $25 money order from bank or a gift card from Walmart at our home address. Police said to tell them bank knew of similar fraud offers and tell them the bank refused to issue money order. The caller insisted. in two calls, they were aware of similar kinds of calls but he was representing a business. We hung up on the caller. .

Since June of this year, I have been inundated with scam calls from Virginia, a place I don't live, have never been to, and to the best of my knowledge, never bought anything online from a business based there. The scammers have used nearly 10 area codes, and various numbers, but never leave a message, nor seldom use the same number.

call me several times to US Army telephone numbers. when I called back, the lady refused that she called this number. This is US Army telephone number.
