Our business received a fax from a Baywood & Associates LLP in Toronto, Canada. Fax stated it was in regards to a "transfer of death" savings monetary deposit of over $11 million US. It wanted to add our names to the policy so we could profit from it. Went into the shred bin.
Got a fax at my work for a former manager about an insurance policy that a supposedly was a customer of ours. About sharing 9 million dollar life insurance policy. Because the customer apparently died 8 years ago in Canada. With energy company there and no family has came forth to claim it. I have a email as well on the fax page.
Another scam caller this time from Canada. Unless you call your cell provider and block it through voice mail they can still leave message as i goes directly to that.
Received a fax from this number to my work. Addressed to me. Claiming (like the usual "Nigerian scam" where someone died (same last name) and left $13,300,000 when she and her only child died 7 years ago. An attorney, michael crinson, (who was a partner nonetheless) was looking for relatives. The letter went on to say to reply to his Gmail address. Why does a law partner want to conduct business on a gmail account and not "him@hislawfirm'swebsite.com"? Seems strange. I didnt respond.
