My nephew called from New Jersey. He had been in a car wreck and had stitches in his lip which is why I didn't recognize his voice and why he didn't remember his name. The number came up as Department of Justice with a Newark area code so it had to be legitimate. They were going to charge the innocent lad with a DUI and he had no bail money so, alas, he would have to spend time with ruffians and villains in the slammer. I was his last hope for bail money. I told him to confess everything and learn a trade while incarcerated. His response was most rude and ungrateful.
