Yup. Fax. Again.
the fax attempt actually came into our office's fax number - however it is from SoCal Auto Buyers looking to buy used vehicles, including construction equipment. this is the 2nd unsolicited fax we have received today. it's the 1st unsolicited fax in a very long time that actually had a fax number shown.
I have received a call every day for two weeks. If you answer it is a fax. Call the number and they say it is an activation center. Three times I have requested to be taken of their list.
it is a fax attempt my home phone. Says Cheyenne WY on caller ID #307 222 6886
calls my office at least 4 times a day. it is a fax tone.
Help others by rating this number - was it spam, a business, or something else?
We've received at least 3 -4 of these faxes for this roofing company. Name on fax: W&R Roofing, 9325 S Tacoma Way, Lakewood, WA 98499. They spoof whatever number they want. Originating fax#: 307-222-6886 (Wyoming #) with 206-602-6886. Our fax number is 206 area code (Seattle) They just adjust the spoofing and scam numbers accordingly with your area. This is a completely different address than they listed before. Previously, they listed a non-existance address, confirmed by Google Maps, and this time... this address is for a Days Inn Hotel, clearly seen on the side of the building. I've called the number on the fax before from a spoofed number and KNOW I've dealt with them before as they show up as a previously blocked number. I'm sure the roofing company could be held liable since they're the one's who's essentially doing it through the fax spam service. that's if it even exists. Spam faxes are one thing an individual or business can actually financially /legally fight. Spam faxes can be fined $500 PER fax. If we get anymore - I'm thinking about doing it myself. We're already up to at least $1500 - $2500 worth of fines already. I'd say it'd be worth a little time!
