Just looked up this number. Seems to be legit, according to this website: https://westoahu.hawaii.edu/makahaiwaa/uh-foundation-fall-2021-calling-campaign. Still, it's lame they call late at night, and they're bugging students (like me) to donate to their foundation. No dice.

This number just called me. I didn't answer. :^/

Called 3 times. Did not answer. No message left.

I got a call from 808-956-3486 and it said University of Hawaii. Lady on other line asked for me by name and when I asked who was calling she immediately hung up. I called back twice, both times no answer. The voice mail is an automated voice that says “U H foundation”. When I called the UH Manoa foundation at their listed number, 808-376-7800, the voicemail is very different. Says “Aloha, you’ve reached the University of Hawaii Foundation, our normal business hours are…” and goes on like an actual business. The other one seems like a scam.

Got a call at 8:26pm. No message.

Got a call like the other on Sunday, came up as University of Hawaii, not even in my contact list. No voicemail left.

Call - no voicemail

Called on a Sunday at 3:38 p.m. It showed up as University of Hawaii on my iPhone. I'm sure it's them asking for donations. They do this periodically for years now.

Got a call at 7:55pm, didn’t answer. no message left.

Didn’t answer call at 8:50 pm from (808) 956-3486; no message was left. UH Foundation shouldn’t solicit donations so late! More so, don’t want to donate!
