Area Code 704 Scams and Spam Calls

Claimed to be from the sheriff's office.

Did not speak to authenticate themselves when call system asked, they stayed mute and hung up when voicemail came on.

I was awakened by a late night call from (704) 755-9522. The caller ID indicaed it was a call from Clear Insights. I did not answer.

Called, I answered on the first signal, but the caller did not react to my answer. Probalby hoping for me to call back.

This is a robocall scam where they state you are in trouble with some unknown company and demand you call an 866 number

Got a call from someone who said they were looking for a type of product our business carries. I asked the caller for her location. She gave the name of a street in the city where we are located. And asked for my email address to send a drawing / specification. I never received it. When I called back, I got voice mail. This isn't a big deal, except that she may have lied about being local.
