Who called me from this phone number (989) 257-0156

Pretended to be an owner of a LENNOX air conditioning company. Brad told me, because I was a senior citizen, I would qualify for a system at little, or no charge. When asked if I owned my home, I answered NO(lie)because I had another call coming through. The LENNOX caller immediately disconnected, once I answered his question. Why is my "DNC LISTED REGISTERED landline not stopping these callers?
