Caller is foreign and speaks broken English. They don’t tell you who they are or what they are from. I told him to get a real job and he got very angry. I hung up and blocked.
have no clue who this call represents. and since I get numerous calls every day from unknown numbers, I have shut down my voice mail AND I refuse/block these numbers from ringing through on my phone. I am disabled, and while the phone is in my name, I did not authorize harassing or time wasting crap phone calls just to suubmit myself to whatever agenda these clowns have. Obviously the folk that are supposed to ride herd on these clown calls arent' doing thier jobs. Typical government "machine" set up to "address" such issues... in name only.

This is a debt collector. Main office in Dallas, TX, USA. Other offices in India. 28 Federal complaints filed last year. Almost 90 complaints filed. ALLEGEDLY... Have violated Fair Debt Collectins Protection Act . Lawsuits state that they claim the debt is owed, after being paid and accounts have zero $ balance. They call any phone # that looks like it might be associated with account. I got call from 937 area code. No office listed in Dayton. They ALLEGEDLY threaten to ruin credit score unless you pay. Even if its been paid OR its not your debt. Just your phone #. Even after making. double payment, the calls will ALLEGEDLY start again demanding payment. Technically not a scam BUT... BBB and gov is aware of their practices. Best thing to do is keep good documentation of paid debt. BLOCK NUMBER IN YOUR PHONE.
