I rec's a call saying the FBI was after me and if I didn't call back they would send the police to arrest me. I have never been arrested, nor done anything illegal. I am 76 yrs old and don't need this kind of stress
We have had probably 3-4 calls from this person that we don't know..Will report the number. I figure it is a telemarketer, sho assumes -'wrongly- that someone will pick up a call with a name.
After registering with do not call, received call from this number.
Caller ID: AETNA Wellness. Called twice in 5 days. Left no message.
Silence then disconnect when I answered. Apparent spoof using close variant of my own cell number. Damn them... really.

Incoming call was a 1-800 number and was not a prerecorded message. Person on the other end told me to call back at 919-230-9952 with some extension. Person claimed to be a recruiter and had my name and resume, was looking to get me a job at a "fortune 500 company."

They call me every evening and never leave a message. I blocked the call and have never answered but they still call every evening.
This number, among many others has been calling me so many time about my car's extended warranty. The scary part is that they knew my car's make and model, but not the year. Double checked with the dealership I got the car from and confirmed they weren't real.
Crap! Said she was Trish from Career Coach on a recorded line and said she had local jobs to fill and what type of work I was looking for and how soon I could start. I said administrative. Her next question was are you a US citizen...at this point I asked to call her back and she very quickly rattled an 888 number asked her to repeated it and there was silence and I hung up. SCAM!!
person said they were with Humana and wanted to offer plans on Humana Health Insurance, They knew my name. Hung up on them.
Caller claimed to be verifying if I had received new Medicare ID Card with new number on it. Asked to "update" records .. did you have/have you had,, etc. THEN asked to verify my address and the number on the card. I thanked her for calling and that if she needed that information, she should submit the request to me in writing on leterhead stationary. I was not giving her that information over the phone.. She got insistent and I again told her that I wasn't giving that information to her or anyone else over the phone. She started again and I interrupted her. I told her again what she had to do to get the information; that I now considered this call over. Thanked her for calling and hung up the phone.
They typically call MY OFFICE twice a day. Today they have called four times. The company is HEALTH CENTER. They say that they are based in Ft. Lauderdale. I have asked repeatedly to be taken off their list and nothing ever happens.
Lady called saying she was with a collection agency. Asked if she was speaking to (my name). Then she wanted to ask me some questions, and the first one was whether I was registered to vote, YES or NO. Obviously she was trying to record me saying yes, so I asked her to put me on her Do Not Call Again List, and blocked her scammy number.
I got a call and I asked if they had the wrong number by text no answer so I blocked them I hope they stop
I get this call at least 2 times everyday. I have blocked the number. But I still get the call daily. Now it just shows up on my Idea as scam... which lets me knows not to pick up call. This is so annoying and disrespectful. Whomever is doing this doesn't care. And with that being said, I think there should be consequences for these robo calls when they continue to call you after you have blocked them.
Robot claimed to represent AARP. Robot warned me not to take financial advice from scammers. Robot told me do a broker check at finra.org, which is absolutely correct. Robot said to tap 1 to receive mail with this information. I did not tap 1, but I did call back. A fraudulent AARP robot answered the call, repeated the information from the first call, but omitted the invitation to tap 1. I called AARP fraud line and reported the call.
Message left: "Hi my name is Adam from Easy Home Sale. We're looking to buy properties in North Carolina and we just wanna know if you're interested in selling. If you are please call us at 919-670-0000. Have a great day. Bye." -
In NC has called several times daily for the past few days. Am blocking now.
its an insurance provider from a request for a quote who won't stop calling months later.
This company says that they are doing your refinancing, but they are not, they are trying to get mortgage / personal information by pretending to be your mortgage company or based on mortgage activity.
