Scam call pretending to be from PSE&G do not confirm or deny anything with these types of calls
Can't understand his accent or where he says he's calling from, sounds like he's looking for my daughter, under her maiden name, who hasn't lived here in 18 years. Didn't pick up and have blocked calls from that number.

Received 2 messages saying to call pSEG immediately I haven't paid them in 14 months they had my name and address.
so far, every day i get a call from them pseg . even says my husband name.
Same thing Happened to me. I called pseg and they apologized for the inconvenience. But they threatened to cut the power off if they didn't receive a payment. Nj doesn't allow the power to be cut in the winter. Electricity runs our furnaces.
I've received two call this morning from 908-577-9161. I didn't answer either of them. But they left a voice mail both times. The call comes up as PSE&G on my phone. So I logged into my account (using my desktop just in case). Nothing going on there. Called the actual PSE&G customer service line. They said they had no issues with my account and couldn't understand why anyone would have called me.
got 2 calls from this number over the last couple of weeks, naming my name and address. also very convincing. Googled it first & found this page. keep reporting these - thanks everyone!
Yup, same here. Be careful, as they sound extremely professional. They don't even get mad if you threaten to send their information to the FTC! And don't give them your address information. I asked PSE&G about that number, and they said for any collections, they would call you from an 800 number. Not this one. In any case, it is a good idea to follow up with PSE&G and make sure there are no hidden fees or payments you may have overlooked. Stay safe everyone!
Calling for Robin Drew or person responsible for payments to call pse&g at 855-765-4490 within 24 hrs due to a problem with the last payment.
Got a call from (908-577-1099 - 03/05/2021) guy named John pretending to be PSEG telling me our business owes $980.00 for past due electric bills. It's been such a crazy year a family almost paid before we called the real PSEG. How sick someone would do this to other people during these times. Stay alert.
