Received two messages from 1-866-384-6171 asking me to call back with a 7-digit code. I telephoned the United Healthcare phone number on the back of my card to check authenticity before returning the call. United Healthcare representative said there was no such number associated with them and advised me not to call it back and share any information. She suggested that the any time I receive a call from United Healthcare that does not match the number on the back of my card, to call and let them know. Please, fellow Americans, share this UHC advice and be careful with your personal information. Trust no one until you take the extra step to verify... and report potential scammers!
Robocall that claims to be CVS Caremark (a prescription management service). Leaves a callback number and 7 digit extension. When you call back, you get into an automated menu from which there's no release. No way to reach a human. Very fishy.
