I just got this same text and when I called was given the exact same runaround. She had my information, which I didn't verify, the proceeded to say I owed $2700+ on an installment loan and could dispute it, or pay a settlement. If I disputed, it would be reported to all three credit bureaus. I told her straight up, "NO, this is a scam, and a fraudulent call." She ended the call at that point.
12/15/21 Toll Free Call received from 855 813 1471 offering 50% discount on ATT Direct TV, and to call 855 295 4661 to avail of this 50% discount. Call to 855 813 1471, rang 12 times then went dead. Call to 855 295 4661 Att Direct TV answered. Very suspicious due to previous call purporting to he aTT direct TV were from numbers that couldn't be completed as dialed. Very suspicious!
It comes up on my caller id that it is MD Realty. I don’t know who it is and I don’t answer. The name comes up on my caller id frequently. Different number every time

Get a voice mail daily asking me to call for a discount on my existing AT&T account. I don't now, nor have I ever had an AT&T account. Definately a scam.

One of my employees gets multiple calls from this number while at work. The caller claims that she needs to provide personal information related to a court case, but there is no court case. Caller is even a bit threatening.
Got a call purportedly responding to a request. It apparently was just a salesman trying to get people to let him move to a different Medicare company. He claimed he could place us with a company that was cheaper and better.

‘’Mark from Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield’’called stating that he has an insurance payment for dental service we provided. Wanted our bank info for direct deposit. I asked to send us a paper check. Then he asked for our business tax ID #, which I declined. He was smooth talking , fast and sounded professional. Make your dental front desk aware!!!!!
Caller pretending to collect donations for St. Jude. Asked for bank card information. Seemed legit at first...since I do support St. Jude regularly. They knew I had donated in the past....likely from Facebook fundraisers. I had to cancel my bank card. Luckily, I canceled it immediately afterwards.
