Robo call threat
DO NOT call or give any information to this group. if the SS office needs to contact you they would send you a letter to come in not to call.
Left a pre-recorded message on my cell phone - I called back from a landline and answered with (something I couldn’t understand ) Social Security they asked who I was and I told them “well, you called me, left a message, no reference number, nothing.....so I guess if you want to talk to me, you’ll figure out who I am and call me back!” I called back right after that and they just picked up the phone and hung it up. I’m thinking I’ll keep calling it just to piss them off.
Give no information to the caller. They called you so ask them what they want. If it really the government, they would not call, they would come to you physically. This is a scam. Be warned.
Recorded message saying to call back before they take legal action for fraud on my social security number.
