Received email saying i enrolled in Microsoft defender for $399 which I did not. The customer service # 18452806507
Yes, I too received an email stating I had renewed Microsoft Defender. Invoice for $399. Asking to call (845) 280-6507. This has to be a scam. Trashed the email.
I also just received the same email (charge was for $399). I know I never ordered this product plus looking at the email address it was a gmail account. Microsoft doesn't use gmail accounts. I suspected it to be a phishing attempt so I ignored it and sent the email to the junk folder.
same experience as everyone above. It is a scam
Email received for an invoice for Microsoft defender for $199. I never ordered any such thing. Called number. Automated voice system said no one was available to take the call. I did not leave a message. How do these people make money doing this? Get a real job.

1. There's no such thing as Microsoft Defender Protection. There is a Windows Defender that is free and comes "built-in" to Windows (all versions). 2. Microsoft with a Gmail address? microsoftsubscription521386@gmail.com They're competitors. Chrysler always sends out emails using a Ford email address.... 3. Engrish as a second language - "This email contain detailed information of your recent purchase with us of Microsoft defender it helps you protect your data in your computer for more details please contact our customer care representative." A multi-billion dollar company sends out emails written as poorly as this? 4. Why would you EVER believe anything that comes in an email that you didn't initiate? 5. You called the phone number in the email? Really? I have a couple of bridges for sale and next week I'm having a sale on National Parks! Please give me your number!
