It's a right call they help me about my bill.
This is complete FRAUD. They are using the Dish Network information to defraud elderly people. My mother became a victim of their scam. They were called back and they denied it all. They had a strong accent and they completely too advantage of her. I called back and they were awful. I will blast this out on every site and agency I can. This is awful that they do this to anyone, especially elderly folks.
Caller (who had a very strong almost un-understandable accent) claimed to be from Direct TV, wanting to upgrade my satellite reception at no cost. Claimed he would get my bill lowered by $30 after 5 months, then after keeping me on phone for 10 minutes while the "upgrade" was happening, finally said Direct TV needed a $125.00 deposit over phone to ensure I would stay with Direct TV over the next 5 months, and that Direct TV would refund it in 5 months. I refused to do any payment over phone saying I needed all this in writing before I would agree to any type of payment. Went downhill very quickly from then with him finally saying that my service would probably deteriorate if I didn't do this now. Direct TV itself confirmed that this was a fraud call.
