I sent the call to voicemail and it only recorded the portion that I had federal offense and I was going to be arrested if I didn’t press 1 to speak to an officer.
I think this is a social security scam, might be an IRS scam. Not sure which. They've called me 3 or 4 times already, today. I declined the 1st call and sent it straight to voice mail, then blocked the number, which only sends it to vm. The reason i'm saying that i'm not sure, is because the robocall starts talking before the vm picks up and i'm only getting the threat at the end
They’ve called three times today... it’s a scam.
This number showed that it was calling from Chicago IL. So far I received 3 calls starting at 7:13 AM. It was a recorded message and not a live person saying it was from the IRS threatening to arrest me if I didn't press 1 to speak to some court person regarding back taxes they say I owe.
