765-780-8657....a man called asking for me to help the police funding....wanting me to say 'yes' in donating money to their fun.....went on to say how many were killed this year and how they need help in funds.....l get these calls all of the time but from different numbers.....l usually hang up on them.....l listened to his 'speil' this time

I'm a "paying a monthly bill" Verizon Wireless Customer and I get these calls from unknown callers all the time. I am on the Do Not Call Database yet it doesn't matter. Is Verizon selling Customer numbers only for customers to call & ask for permanent blocks from unknown numbers, excess Services provided by 3rd party companies? What is going on?! They have called me twice this week. I answer, they start speaking, and then we are disconnected. Total scam call.
Called left no msg. I retuned call and got an answering machine that sounded like a robot saying no one available. Blocked them and marked as Spam.
