I received a call on November 27, 2020 that used an in-state area code and prefix but during the call used 747-301-7121 as a return phone number. The scam was to update our cable box so that we would not loose channels. They would also credit our account $30 for the next two years starting on January, 2021. We would receive a check in February, (2021?) but needed a deposit of $199.83 on credit card or checking account today.
