I ALSO RECIEVED A CALL FROM THE SAME NUMBER BUT IT WAS NOT SCAM CALL I MEAN THEY ACTUALLY LOWERED MY CABLE BILL
Today I received a call from 800) 531-5884 They claimed to be from AT&T offering a discount. They wanted me to call them back direct to (747) 255-1242 ext 6014. His name was John. He had my name, email, phone and address. However to offer a discount he needed to access my account and wanted my password. I refused and had not called. I did call AT&T and they told me never provide your password to any unsolicited call.
Received the same call on 6/25/2019. Before activating my discount I needed to send them $99.99. They needed my password so that they could verify my information. I gave them a phony PIN and they said they had my account pulled up. That's when I knew it was a scam.
Supposedly calling from at&t. Gaining access to account pin and requiring a subscription fee for lowering cable bill.

I don't know why people are making it so hard to believe that they have to pay to get something, in world we are living everything has a price if it's profitable we should consider it. I thought same about them at first but when i see my bills are way lower and they helped me to resolve my issue that was being ignored by customer service for last 2 months. I paid them $199.99 and they made me pretty happy with my tv so i should pay them.
