Called our business, couldn't even pronounce "Associates" correctly, said she was from Eversource and needed to speak with our manager about our bill. Needless to say I threw that message away.
"Laura" left message we needed to call regarding our power bill. Didn't have our correct address or power provider. Told her that her information was incorrect and she cussed me out.
Calling claiming to be Eversource, obviously not a CT phone number
Claimed to be the electric company and that they were going to turn off our power.
A woman and a man called my company saying they got a "notification" about our electric account. The same woman called my company over an over again and still maintained she had legitimate business with our company even after I called her out as being a scammer. I stated that I knew she was scamming us and even told her I was online looking at all the complaints I saw regarding this phone number - still the phone calls persisted.
"Luis" demanded a call back in regards to and energy account and didn't even know who serviced the area.
Add CT to that llist Carlos is a pain in the butt. He won't stop. So I just started rambling on and on. He eventually hung up.
Company using deceptive practices to change rate on National Grid bill. When told that we were not interested in completing the contract, the telemarketer called back 6 times in a row to protest and attempted to play an automated message to one of our staff in order to complete a 'contract'.
Claimed to change National Grid Rate... DOnt understand Speak fast at the end want to do credit report. Is this true or Scam?
"Carlos" - caller from 727-998-0517 - used deceptive practices to attempt to get around our receptionist screening calls; supposedly had important information regarding "updated prices" for electricity. Regardless of our refusal, called repeatedly.
Claimed to be a PEPCO (electric company) representative and asked for a call back regarding a notice sent last month. SCAM
A rude disrespectful man named David lamb claimed to work for national grid demanding to speak to the manager.
Claimed to be a representative from PSE&G in NJ and they sent letters in our last few bills regarding incorrect pricing. Very persistent and pushy. 3 calls so far...
Energy sales call. Wants you to change energy providers. Will undoubtedly be the most expensive power you ever purchased.
Claimed to be from the "State of IL Department of Energy" regarding an outdated item on our bill. It was obviously from a call center.
Claimed to be an energy broker that could get us a better rate
Received a call from Valerie Falquez, a Senior Account Manager for National Grid. She was notifying me that our electric account was charged incorrectly. I told her that we don't have electricity through National Grid. Trying to give us quotes and save us money.
A gentleman by the name of Joseph Alvarino claiming to be a consultant for the State of Illinois wanting to verify that we are receiving the correct charges for our Ameren power bill and that we failed to respond to a notification and return call. Wanting detailed information about what we are paying per kwH. Did not try to sell me anything but I also had to cut him short and tell him that I would call him back after I retrieved all information that he was requesting. I did not get a warm and fuzzy feeling about this phone call.
Claimed he was Kevin, a consultant with the state of Pennsylvania and the Dechoice Program. He stated that we failed to respond to a notification on our electric bill last month about the rate being outdated and needing to be fixed regarding our electric meter. He gave our correct address. But it is false info.

Left voice mail message insinuating that he represented Pepco (local energy provider) and indicating that we "needed" to call him back with energy bill in hand. I am certain that this is actually a solicitation to try to have us switch and use his company as our energy provider.
