Got a call from 6504450722 claiming to be a branch of Uber. They demanded $9.00 to help me find a lost smartphone but they never recovered that phone.
The number (650)445-0896 had been recorded on my voicemail as someone whistling. It did not pop up on my Caller ID or any call log history on my phone. There was no voice, just a person whistling as if to get someone's attention. Very bizarre.
