I just received a text from 650-253-0000 with a Google verification code. I'm thinking, "I didn't request a code". So, I Googled (bahaha!) and found out this was a scam.
RECD CALL FROM 650 253 0000= CLAIMING TO BE GOOGLE SUPPORT..staing logins showing from frankfurt germany, oh and now from utah...i looked up number while speaking to man, told him number shows ad fraud/scam/ HE HUNG UP..wanted to block logins, stating someon on a chat was trying to chnage the number on my google acct
Got a text from Google with a verification code at 3:20 AM. It said this is an authentic notification from Google.
Came up as potential spam. Sounded like a robo call, there was a bad connection. I hung up.
Same number called me... 650-253-0000 over and over again. Pre-recorded message says wait another person is on the line.
Got a call from (650) 253-0000 with my phone saying "Potential Spam" so I knew it was a scammer. Caller said "we just received an account recovery request for [my Gmail account], was this you?" And knowing what they wanted to do (send me account resets to gain access), I said "oh yeah, that was me, bye!"
Received this as a support number. It doesn't seem to be real.

wife got scammed, Scott Emir, Adler Varsey, and a few other names.hey uses the same names.scott emir must of hit a nerve.A person connected to him is on tik tok Simay.07 which could be a daughter.my wife has seen him because he was a surgeon.he is scamming on the side and hiding behind his occupation.he moves around.he was in Mexico last year for drugs.
