I received a call from a male with an Indian accent from phone number 646-43934151 telling me that the treasury department was giving me a grant in the amount of $9750. Then he gave me a code and a number to call that he claimed to be Western Union. He then gave me a code and instructed me to call the number (646-374-8471). I called 3 times and it would pick up and I could hear voices in the background then a beep but nothing after that. Since I did not really talk to someone the only thing that I am out is my time. Update: I received a call from the 646-374-8471 and he asked me for the purpose of the call (again with an Indian accent) and he said "Do you have $100 to confirm your number?" I told him that I called Western Union and there is no charge to receive money, only send it. I decided to change this into a complaint and plan on contacting the treasury department and the FBI to file a formal complaint.

Computerized voice stating that legal action is going to be taken If I don't call them back relating to fraudulent activity using my SSN.

This person said the US is messed up and he needs helpers to overturn the Government. I don't know who that is but this is not funny. I think the FBI should investigate this number as possible threat to the United States.
