Who called me from this phone number (612) 843-9348

Someone called ny dad from this number saying they are from medical service group and started asking all kinds of questions about his insurance, doctor visit and the name of rhe doctor he visited. My dad didnt know better sonhe told them his DOB and insurance company. Later I googled medical service group and found out they are a scam and probably identity thiefs who call other people trying to get information and when someone questions them they hang up.
