Who called me from this phone number (610) 624-1001

I received a call from this number today, and because some of my friends sometimes ask to use other peoples’ Phones to make calls, I answered. The woman on the other end said she had important business with me and that I would need to confirm the last four of my social. SHE TOLD ME THE LAST FOUR OF MY SOCIAL and asked me to confirm it. When I refused, she said she would have to disconnect. Now seeing this I am glad I went no further with the call. I’d like to report it to the police, but I know they will just ask me why I picked up in the first place.
