Area Code 610 Scams and Spam Calls

This was from Davies Inspection Service as a curtesy call letting me know they will be doing an inspection of my house in the next few days.

Said i had a past due grocery bill

I did not hear the message because the number 610-440-3871 is not being listed as a valid business entity, so I flagged it as a SCAM call.

Teleport Communications. Best guess is they want to sell me the North end of a duck flying South. My information was hacked on the internet. We get 4 - 5 calls a day. If I don't recognize the caller I just let the answering machine handle it. They never leave a message.

A recording: "Update your google business listing"

I got a text message about tree service in my area, I have never given out my number to a tree contractor. Here is the text I received, as I received it: "Hey {my name} my name is haley, we're doing tree removals in & around {the road I live on}, we got 1 open slot for a quote, did you need one? :)" As you notice there is no indication of what company this if for, so I am ranking it as spam.

Left Vm stating I ordered a MacBook Pro for $1499. On my Amazon account

calls constantly & leaves no voicemail and silent when answered

I did not answer. However, I called number. Voice prompt claims that pressing 1 will put your number on the mystery company's Do Not Call list.

Repeated calls from this number daily, which I never answer

GOT CALLS FROM 610-601-1999 REQUESTING TO BUY MY PROPERTY. SPAM CALL, NOISY, UNPROFESSIONAL. NO EXPLANATION OF COMPANY EXCEPT ROSE INVESTMENT

The scam blocker on my phone silenced the call. I searched the number and was directed to this site.

Rec'd "Charity call"

I actually tried to call them back to request to speak to a manager, and the call immediately went to a voicemail, and then hangs up on you so you cant leave a message. This is an absolute scam. They do not take you off their registry when asked, and get amused wehn you get angry. This is a game to them, they are time wasters, and I will be reporting the number to the FTC
