Phishing call - claimed to be my bank & that I had fraud on my account. HE supplied ME w/ the first 8 of my actual card number, had my address, and other details but wanted me to confirm other details. After 25 min being careful & not answering certain questions he sent me a ‘confirmation code’ to my phone (supposedly) that he wanted me to read back to him to confirm receipt. It ended up being a verification code to type into a vendor’s site for a purchase on my card of over $1k which included this verbiage and the last 4 of my card number. I hung up & called my bank immediately. This was in fact a fraudulent call attempting to steal my remaining information. There is now a hold on my credit to keep these thieves from accessing my credit or getting more in my name. CRIMINALS!
