Received a message from 505-302-9821; I returned the call & it was to collect an alleged debt on a credit card that had not been used over 30+ years ago. The speaker claimed he was with a "litigation"(implying some type of legal) firm and was seeking what he, referred to as "deposition" information. I knew immediately when he mentioned an ancient credit card debt that this is one of those scam collection agencies that buy up old long retired debts for a few cents on the dollar and then attempt a collection. I told him I knew about, and understood that fraud game and wasn't going to play along with him and hung up on him.
