Just had a man give me an old address of mine and threaten to show up if I hung up on him again. He is trying to locate someone I have no relation to. He was irate and has called back 4 times, even after I told him not to call me again.
A woman called claiming to work for the state, and asked to speak to a Katie Bates. When I told her she had the wrong number she continued talking so I hung up. She called 2 more times. I finally picked up to ask her to quit calling. She was very angry that I had hung up the first time. She kept calling me Katie and when I told her that was not my name she called me a liar. She started screaming at me and told me that she could track my number and she was going to send the cops to pick me up. I hung up again and she called 6 more times (which I didn't answer) until I blocked the number.
Someone by the name of Kevin Lee called me from this number claiming to be looking for a Frank Vargas Gonzales, who "supposedly" is related to me ( HE IS NOT). I told this Kevin that I do not know anyone by that name. He then accused me of obstruction of justice and I would be served. He became hostile towards me. He asked me to verify my SSN and home address, which I did not. I repeated to him I did not know this person he is trying to contact. He told me he would file a subpoena against me and hung up. The second time he called me 2 min later and stated he would go to every address I have lived at and for me to have two forms of ID. I told him to go ahead since he was a scammer, once again he became irate and stated he was not a scam. I asked for his name and he told me to write it down, "Kevin Lee" and immediately he hung up.
