Received a robocall from 475-224-4951. Some of it was garbled; but, it directed us to call them back and no further legal action would be taken. I blocked the number.
My Wife received a call this morning from an organization Called Wishes for Children (Holiday FL) or Wisher for Children Foundation (Harrisburg PA). My caller ID indicated that the phone number was not assigned. They knew her name , address and after a quick sales talk she was asked to donate $30 to this organization to help children. Then she was transferred to another representative who asked for her credit card information to complete her pledge. She told the person that all her donations were made by check and that she would give $15. I don't know if they will send a envelope for the donation. However, the call was made from New Haven CT. Therefore, I am very suspicious of this caller and organization.
