Got unwanted call from 469-383-5766?
Got a text from 469-383-5766 regarding a job. I was looking for a part-time job to supplement my TN State Employee Pension and SS because I want to retire. I started an application, but backed out because I had concerns if the job was real. I did not finish the application. But a few days or so later received in the mail a priority mail envelope. Inside was a letter from a Dustin Walker and a check for $2,940.00 from Credit Union One of Ferndale, Michigan. The letter instructed me to deposit the check and if my bank wanted to hold the check for clearance a few days it was okay. The letter continued to instruct me to go to 2 Walmarts. Then purchase 2 Walmart Credit Cards, $400 each. Warned that I might be directed to Customer Service/Money Center. Then directed me to scratch off the silver spot, take a close-full picture of each and send to 469-383-5766. Then email the evaluation report to evaluationsurveysdustin@protonmail.com . I was told to keep $500 for my payment for taking part in the evaluation survey- something shopper. I have deposited the check. I receive another text from 970-403-4009 yesterday, July 24, 2021 again requesting me to follow through with depositing the check and buying the gift cards. Both texts came from the same number. Since I had not completed the job application, I deleted the first text. But still have the text on my cell phone and the check and letter.
