I've received a voicemail indicating I need to verify my current address as well as place of business to move forward with next procedure or I forfeit my rights to take care of a matter outside of my county and they will contact my HR to deliver proper paperwork, they leave this phone number along with a case number. They indicate its my maiden name and I've been married for 8 years. The first time they called I called the number back and the person just answered the phone with an "Hello". I've worked with debt collectors in the past and they always been respectful and indicate their company name as well as its an attempt to collect a debt. This person just said I had to provide payment today and that he had all of my personal information; name, address, dob and SSN and then went on to laugh at me because I challenged him, eventually he hung up on me.
