Then claims ex-wife is in prison and he is looking for wife. He also claimed to be Christian. Now says mother is sick, he is now in Bahamas but lost wallet in flight.
Someone with a very thick foreign accent mispronounced my name, asked me to identify myself and when I asked who she was, she hung up. I blocked the number.

Received repeated calls at the same time. They hang up when you answer. If you call back they are soliciting and once you ask them to stop calling they hang up on you, and call back 20 mins later. They call from this and other numbers.

They called me asking about my neighbor's husband, whom I have never met, saying that he put me down as a personal reference for a job. He is currently in DR and hasn't been here in years. Very strange.

I received a phone call message from this number. The person identified herself at Elizabeth and mentioned something about Sharp. I'm assuming a printer. It would appear she's trying to sell something. Gave me a call back number of 407-377-0698.I won't be calling back.
Since I do not know anyone in this area, nor do I do business with anyone in this area, and since the number is NOT in my contact list, I waited for them to leave me a message, which they did NOT. As with all these nuisance calls/spam calls, I blocked the number, & reported it to the Do Not Call Registry!!!
Called prepaid Tracfone - only family has # and voice mail not set up. Some POS found our # last November/December 2020 and called/texted over 200 times. Each time we blocked #, called/texted from another # about health insurance addressed to Melanie that no one ever applied. Then it was about mortgage from every small hick town in Arkansas, Las Vegas, FL, GA, TX. So we stopped wasting time to block # and simply deleted. Then POS sold # to DoorDash and we recd text about food delivery from FL and Las Vegas. Found idiot Melanie in Benton, AR - home health care worker. Alerted her but she did not care so hung up on her. Now we simply ignore and posted comments. POS can rot and burn in hell.

i did a “put your number for drug addiction treatment” and i got a call from this number in the exact same second, i did not answer (didn’t have time, rang once and hung up) ended up with a voicemail of 6 seconds saying “number not in service”
Mr Baker (alias) is still using the 407 917 7337 phone number issued to him by one of the US phone carriers. Seems the carriers have no interest in telefraud criminal activity if it doesn't affect their bottom line! The FCC and FTC appear to be inept when it comes to telefraud crime prevention even though they have all the information they require to restrict these criminals from further abuse of the telephone network customers. If you are smart enough to figure out this guy is a criminal and you have a phone that allows you to block this number you are lucky. Other Americans may not be as smart or have the blocking feature. They may get scammed and find out later their bank accounts have been emptied by the criminals. The telephone carriers, the FTS, FCC and congress appear to not give a damn about these criminals as these scams have been on-going for many years!
I have asked "Bill" to not call my number again and he continues to ignore my request and within a month to six weeks he calls again.
