Called and said he represented our bank an had an offer to lower our credit card rate. Called back this evening and man answered. Said someone was "spoofing" his number and to block his number. That I don't understand why to block

Man called saying he represented our bank an had an offer to lower our credit card rate. I called the number back this evening and a man answered saying that his number was being "spoofed " and I should block his number. Doesn't make sense to unless he is going to keep calling. FISHING!!
