Threatening legal action. Starts by picking up in the middle of the conversation. Never identifies WHO they are. I have never called the number they give as it is surely a scam. Sometimes it starts with a guy. It will later leave answering machine messages identifying a Herbert Thomas. I guess that is so they can say wrong number later.
I called the number back and the recording said they represent “national dealer services”. Sounds like a telemarketer to me. I’m glad I didn’t answer when They called.
This number has been reported to FTC and the NC AG's Office for violation of the federal and state Do Not Call list. Possible fine of $25k from state.
