At least 50 consumers from Minnesota, California, Texas, Virginia, Arizona, and 14 other states reported phone number 214-587-4563 to the Federal Trade Commission. 32% of complaints reported the call or text message as a robocall or recorded message. The last complaint was on November 20, 2019.

Indian accent; said that my windows computer has been receiving attacks, or something to that effect. Knew it sounded scammy from the beginning because my wife had an experience like that about 7 years ago and she almost fell for it. I think then, they wanted to take over her computer, like IT techs do when troubleshooting, to find a problem, or add software; and these scammers wanted to charge at least $100 back then.
