I got a call from 214-432-0257 said they were from merchant services but couldn't tell me the name of their business.
Said they were our merchant services, but couldnt tell me the company name. Said I needed to give them information on an overpayment.
Caller wanted to know if I had my credit card statements ready for them to go over my billing. I told them that I was not the person responsible for that and he said that I sounded just like my boss (there's no way). I told them my boss was gone and hung up.
Calling businesses-Claim to be from Master Card and Visa. The lady wanted me to pull up my merchant account and give her my information so she could credit my account from over-charges. My bank said it was a scam The lady keeps calling me back when I told her what my bank said and I hung up on her .
