Caller saying Cologuard. The strange thing is the message where it had my voice (name) in the voice mail.

I received this phone call on my Caller ID saying it was from Cologuard on 1-28-25 at 9:02 am and 1-23-25 4:05 pm. After I saw the name Cologuarrd on my Caller ID, I was hesitant to call back because I had already had a colon home test kit done through Labcorp last September 2024. The result was negative. Plus, I had gone to Labcorp on Monday, Jan. 27, 2025 to have blood tests for Lipid Panel, A1C, and urine tests. There was no request for another colon check. I thought it was peculiar that Cologuard was calling me as I never got a request from my doctor to have another colon check. Also, I do not know how they got my unlisted landline phone number. Another peculiar thing was that I received a Cologuard box in the mail last night, Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from Exact Sciences Laboratories, 145 E Badger Rd, Madison, WI 53713. (844) 870-8870 If it is a home test kit, I do not recall ever requesting acceptance for it. It did say on the top of the box to "Carefully open box using the tear strip. Box must be re-used for return." I suspect those Cologuard phone calls must be in reference to this unexpected 3 Lb. UPS Ground Box. I did carefully pulled the strip but did not really look inside the box for its contents as I am still perplexed why I am getting this box. I am afraid to call back that number 978-552-6250 in case it is a scammer trying to get money from me for this box. I believe I will get another phone call from them asking if I received this box and what to do with it. They may even try to charge me for it. Does anyone have any suggestions what to do with this box and/or how did I ever get a phone call from them in the first place and getting my unlisted landline phone number and address to send me this box? My doctor never requested I get another colon check. I usually get a packet to have it done at home from Labcorp, which I turn in at their local Labcorp office.

This is a legit robo call from Exact Sciences Cologuard. You can google for verification but this is legit.

Test doctors didn’t order

this company keeps calling and writing me to have a health test that my doctor did not order. They used THIER doctor. I think it is a scam for people on medicare.

It's a robo call. Yes, it is from a legitimate company, Cologuard, but implemented so poorly it's still annoying spam. Just happens that the company is identifiable. This is a robo call, and no message is left, no matter how many times they call. That is absolutely unacceptable behavior. So, yes - in my book this is a spam call and should be blocked.

seems that it was legit. I called back and indeed the number responded. if the medical office told me to expect it, I would have had less anxiety about it

It is a colon test kit. Sent to collect feces . They are ordered by a Dr. to test for colon diseases and health.

For me, this turned out to be legitimate. This medical lab uses an voice-automated system to follow up with patients when an in-home test was recommended by a physician. The lab is calling to confirm OK to send test kit, and asks how best to notify of updates as testing progresses.

About 8:00 pm 11/16/21 received a robocall from this number and the name listed was Cologuard. I answered and there was no response.
