First got a call from 1-800-565-4332 from a kid who said his name was Bill. Said he was in Hazelton, PA and had been involved in a car accident, broke his nose, hit a pregnant woman and was in jail under a 120K bond. Wanted to know if I could post the 10% needed to get him out of jail. Said he didn't want his mom to know that he was in trouble again. (I do have a relative named Bill, and this person did have my first name correct). I thought it was legit and it nearly scared me to death. UNTIL this person made the mistake and called me Grandma. I am not a Grandma to my Bill. Anyway he gave me his case number and said an attorney was going to call me and talk about his case and what financial arrangements could be made. This so-called attorney (John Williams) has called four times 1-954-459-3403. Not from PA mind you, but from Florida. Long story short, they were trying to scam me out of $12,000. This should be a CRIME and I will report it to the FTC
