Got unwanted call from 949-393-8984?

User Comments

They say they can lower student loan debt but it isn't true. They call in an attempt to scam you for money. They call from various numbers but leave a message asking me to call this number 949-393-8984. It is NOT a government associated business. I do not answer, do not give sensitive info to them.

They will not stop calling and they always leave a voicemail automated message something about reducing student loans. I've never had student loans in my life. Wish we could all go back to the olden days where we had an answering machine at home and had to wait to get home to retrieve our messages! These fraudulent phone calls are a pain in the rear

Pain in the butt! They will not stop calling! They always leave an automated voicemail saying I can get my student loans reduced. I don't even have student loans! If I did I wouldn't trust them because of what I have read different reports about the phone numbers that they call from, they are a total scam Spam bunch of jerks! i I wish they would quit calling my phone ! Losers so annoying!

Student loan forgiveness. When I called back and asked to be removed on three separate occasions the operator hung up on me.

I received the voicemail on the phone provided by my employer. I'm the HR Director for a school district. +1 (877) 500-1530 is the number listed for the voicemail that I received. My phone didn't record a missed or incoming call, the voicemail just showed up. Similar message to those reported by others - may be eligible for a reduction in student loans payment ... the callback number given is 949-393-8984.

Rings once and goes directly to my voicemail. This is something that telemarketers have figured out because it happens quite often. It was for student loan consolidation. I do not have a student loan. No name or company name was given. I was told to call 949-288-5603 for more information
