Claimed to be a security person calling about the safety of my home, on a recorded line, in a gruff, policeman type way, and asked if I could hear her okay; when I hesitated almost but not saying yes (that can be recorded and used to claim I agreed to something) and asked what company she was with, she hung up.
Claimed to be a safety person about my home, and the first question was "can you hear me okay" -- I *almost* said yes but didn't since that word can be recorded and used to claim I ordered something, and as I hesitated on the "y" part and then asked what company they were with, they hung up.

Lady called saying she was with a collection agency. Asked if she was speaking to (my name). Then she wanted to ask me some questions, and the first one was whether I was registered to vote, YES or NO. Obviously she was trying to record me saying yes, so I asked her to put me on her Do Not Call Again List, and blocked her scammy number.
