Once I realized I had received numerous calls from this number, I googled it and found two interesting bits of information. White pages identified the caller as Lennon Brooks and another website id’d it as coming from NC Sate University. I then googled the name and found him on LinkedIn as a “director of annual giving” at UNC Chapel Hill. I plan to text him and explain that I donate to NCSU. I suspect that is how he got my number.
NSCU wanting money
My husband got live voice call 2/15/2021 identifying caller as from nc State U. After few seconds it became clear it was an insulting call. He told them off and they hung up. When he tried to call back it went to voicemail.
