I got a call too and Chase collection etc.
Got a call this morning and they wanted my date of birth and address. I told them I do not give this information and asked which debt? and they didn't give me information.
I received a call just now. They said the were a collection agency. Nothing to do with Chase but wanted my address and date of birth to confirm my identity. I told them I was not comfortable with giving my information out. She said it’s all public record. She knew my full name and it’s true its easy to pull a public record. But I told her I’ll call back. Which I’m not!
THEY WANTED TO VERIFY MY ADRESS AND DATE OF BIRTH
Called me to say they were calling from Chase Receivables and wanted to verity my address. I explained I did not have a chase account to which she states this was an attempt to collect a debt. I stated she had the wrong number and hung up
Said they were from chase collections and asked for my address and date of birth. When I told them I didn’t have any accounts in collections they got combative and told me a collections letter was going out in the mail today. I’m positive I have no accounts in collections. Creeped out that they had my name on an unlisted phone number though.
Called me to say I own money!!! I haven't banked with chase in over 11yrs
I don’t have any outstanding bills with my bank but it called me to tell me I have. I let her speak and she wanted my DOB and address to confirm my ID.
