Area Code 916 Scams and Spam Calls

Wanted to video chat

Texted that I have a loan with them and if I'm interested in a CNV loan.

I used the google call screening service they didn't say anything.

No voicemail. I did not answer.

called claiming they are California medical board. Scam

Robotic voice saying that $999.99 will be taken out of my account.

there was no voicemail I did not call back either to see who called

Called did not leave a message

Calls daily, sometimes several times a day. Blocked the number, but it still gets through. Reported to the Do Not Call list several times to no avail. Extremely annoying.

Got a call while here at the VA from this number . Called back on VA front desk phone and it immediately says this unallocated number is unavailable then hangs up

Left 25 seconds message and can't understand them

I got a call from 1 916 665 4096 @ 3:56 pm 5/8/2025

3 calls between 9:06-9:07am

Receive calls from this same person using different phone numbers regarding insurance I think. I always hang up when I hear the same voice.

Got a call, did not answer, left a message. I tried to delete the number but could not until I listened to the message. It locked my phone, to be to delete the number and the call.
