Medicare scam also calling from various Duplin County numbers (910-372-xxxx) same guy and gal, calling with absolutely free stuff from medicare that your doctor has ordered, or telling me I'm diabetic and they have free supplies for me. Or first they say they don't need any of my info, that they already have it all in their computer, but as soon as I ask them to tell me exactly what they want... they ask to verify my personal info... NO WAY. The same people called my dad on his cell when he was visiting... I recognized the guy's voice.. claiming to be medicaid help... dad isn't even on medicaid. Please make these people and their "friends" go away!!!
They keep calling me telling me I have a UPS package coming in a few days with medical braces ordered by my doctor through medicare, absolutely free of charge blah blah blah.... NONE of my doctors has authorized any such thing. Sometimes they tell me they have diabetic supplies for me blah blah blah.... They call from different numbers but it's always the same 2 people, a guy or a gal with a heavy accent of some kind....each time the name of their medicaid help group they claim to be is slightly different.... I argued with them once that if they were legit and I say no they should stop calling me.. they said they'd keep calling and calling and calling... they got quiet for a few days and then one day they called me every 20 friggin minutes from different local-looking NC phone numbers. My phone has run out of space for more blocked numbers. from now on I just ignore the calls if they don't match anyone in my address book or I blast them with a whistle now that I just got a really good loud one.

They called again.. this time it was an "Angela from Medicare Assist, calling to perform your cardiac exam over the phone". She hung up on me when I told her outright that it wasn't authorized.
